About the event
This event is all about breaking that disconnection we feel with ourselves and the world around us.
We will immerse ourselves in nature, in our stories, and in an amazing outdoor spa experience at the Bedruthan Hotel to start to create an environment where we are open with our true feelings and experiences to give us an immense sense of freedom, acceptance, connection and joy!
The intention is to help become more in tune with our emotional selves, and to create a an environment where we hold space for each other to be open with our struggles, our emotions and share new fun experiences together, finding how the pure joys in being vulnerable & real give us such incredible feelings of connectedness & acceptance.
The structure of the event will be:
- Meet on Mawgan Porth Beach
- Breathing together & Sharing circle
- Cold water swim
- Spa trip to Bedruthan

Breathing:
At Rewilding, we want to encourage the acceptance & encouragement of each other to just be themselves, and be real with whatever emotions they might be feeling 'good or bad'. In order to help our own transformational processes. This is where focussing on our breath come into play. There are many ways in which you can use youer breath but we will just be paying attention to our breath and allowing anytning to surface which we are feeling.

Sharing circle:
It is important to note that there is no expectation to share in any of this experience. However if you do feel you want to it, this environment is all about creating a judgement free zone to just let go and open up, while others just simply hold the space for each of us to share. From my experience this creates such a relief from what were used to, just being able to let go of perceived barriers of taboo topics (namely how we feel!) and find a place of acceptance & feeling truly accepted as we are.

Cold water swimming:
There are so many amazing benefits to cold water swimming. Both physical & emptional:
- Improves your cardiovascular flow due to forcing blood to the surface to warm your extremities.
- Helps boost your immune system through boosting your white blood cells.
- It burns calories ! Due to your heart needing to pump faster than in warmer waters
- Releases endorphines - the happiness hormone!
- Proven to treat depression
- Reduces stress - the cold water places stress on the body which actually has the adverse effects in daily life.
- Increases your libido! It boosts oestrogen & testosterone production adding and edge to fertility levels & libido!

Bedruthan Spa:
We will then make our way up to Beruthan Hotel Spa for their Sensory Spa Garden and thermal spa, where you will experience the following:
- Dry scrub to exfoliate
- Wash off in hot shower
- Cedar wood sauna
- Cold water bucket drench
- Hot tub time!
- Seaweed scrub to leave you tingling
- End at the fireplace
- Then the indoor thermal spa is available for usage
